Unlike project members, project groups extend beyond the scope of a single project. Members of project groups provide each other with professional consultation or collaborate, typically on projects with a similar professional focus or location.

Some types of projects may be “sensitive” for the organization. For these projects, it is possible to create closed project groups. Only members of these teams have access to projects added to closed project groups. A single project can be assigned to multiple project groups.

Encouraging the sharing of good ideas is important. Kaizen Tracker allows points to be awarded not only for submitting good ideas, but also for their acceptance and implementation. Employees can later redeem the points they earn for rewards, recognition, or benefits.

The total savings from each project are also divided between the project leader and the project team members. All users thus “earn” savings through their own activities, which are compared with one another at monthly intervals—not just at the end, but throughout the entire period. All championship members can thus see not only the results but also a prediction based on estimated project deadlines for the top three spots. Everyone knows who has achieved the highest savings in a given period and how much they need to save during that period to reach a higher or winning position.
